Nürnberg Memories!!
The intentions of this
website is to provide former and present military personnel and their
dependents that were once stationed in the Nürnberg Military Area a
place to get in contact with each other, their German friends and share
their comments and photos. All the residents of the Nürnberg area and
the surrounding towns are welcome also. The potential is here to find
some old friends. There are guys on the Ferris Barracks site that have
found buddies they haven't heard from in twenty years or more.
All
the kasernes in the Nürnberg area may be closed, but we can keep them
alive with our photos, our stories and the memories we can share.
If you have any photos
you would like to share on this site: Email them to
to us by clicking here. Make sure you let us know what area
the photos are from because they will be posted under the barracks where
they were taken. There are a lot of people out there that didn't get
any photos while they were there. Please don't put more than 5 or six 6
photos in an email at one time. More than that makes it hard to upload
them.
An other great
website that shows the history of the Kasernes of the
Nürnberg Military Community and
their conversion.
