Make sure you guys read the one on PASS THE BUTTER, you might find it really interesting.
I served at Pinder Barracks in Zirndorf, from 1972-74.
Been awhile since visiting this site and I see there has been a few changes. I kind of miss Germany and the guys I was stationed with. Would really like to get in contact with some of them.
A couple of years ago I ran into a friend on this site that I hadn’t seen since being in Nuernberg. It was a German friend I used to hit the clubs with. We sure had a lot of fun during them younger years in life. I don’t know if I could hold the pace now that we did back then. Staying out till 3 in the morning and then jumping out of our bunks at 5, then work all day and do it again that night. I was wore out during the day most of the time but I managed to make it.
I guess if I had it to do all over again, I probably would do the same thing over again. What’s that they say? Young dumb and full of come.
Glad to have you back Larry.
…well Tater, if you did all this during the “mid to late 70’s”, I probably was partying right next to you, no idea how we did it and no regrets
Beate.
Well Jimmie you were whinning about me beating you to all the guestbooks on one of the other sites, so I waited until I seen your name on this one before I put any entries on here.
Great looking site. I’m starting to like the new boards that have been added to the site lately and how about that new site Army Kaserne at http://www.armykaserne.com. Looks like they cover almost all the kasernes that were in Germany. I like to surf through them and see what everone is saying.
