Sad to hear about the place being given back to the German Government, I had a lot of fun times in A Co 16th from 84-87, Co’s driver for most of it, lot of extra field time because he was Brigade Engineer. Guest houses, food, beer and lots of women to look at. What a great time, life sucked when I came state side wish I could have stayed longer. Look forward to hearing from some of you, specially A co people.

I was in C Co 2nd PLT at the Johnson from 85 to 86. I’m over here now visiting family. I drove by the Johnson yesterday; it was sad to see it gone. It was raining very hard so no pictures. I will go back this weekend and take some of all the places around the area including downtown. I will post them on facebook just send me a friend request and mention the Johnson or any other barracks.
