Mar 28, 10 at 6:41 pmThis is a late posting, but it’s important that those that served with him at Ferris, know that …..CSM (R) Jerry Trew passed away on Oct. 23, 2009. CSM Trew served as th CSM of 2/81 Armor and as the CSM of the 2d BDE during the mid to late 1980’s. A great Sergeant Major…….and my friend for almost 40 years…

Jul 25, 10 at 3:33 pmMy step father Doudlas D. Harlow was stationed at Pinder Barracks in 1950 through 1958. Went to Nam in 1965 from Ft. Riley, Was severely injured , spent many yrs in Walter Reed Hosp, passed away March 6, 1976. I have many fond memories of Pinder, my mom used to work at the NCO club, went back in May 2009 spent a month, was wonderful to see the old place again. Went to the Little Greeks. It was called Hauesteins back in the 50’s. I’m going to save money and go back again if I live that long.
